128th Infantry, State Color. Composed of men from Berks, Bucks, and Lehigh counties, the 128th was a nine-month unit organized in August 1862. The regiment received the state color on October 21. More than half the regiment was captured at Chancellorsville on May 2, 1863, however, Sergeant Henry S. Lovett escaped with the flag. The survivors were mustered out of service on May 16, 1863.
